"No! You are a horrible warrior, healer, hunter, and even puppysitter! You are horrible!" She shook her head furiously. "Please! Mother, I can improve! Please!" Tears streamed down her face. "Darling, I think we should give her a chance. I mean, she is only a few months old." The father looked sincerely down on his daughter. The mother turned, her eyes burning with anger. "No! She has failed every chance we have given her! Just give her to the one of the Omegas."
Statik was given to the lowest ranking Omega couple, who hated her parents. She walked up to them the day she was given to them. "My parents--" She was jumped on by her "father," his paw on her neck.
Her eyes opened, breathing heavily. "It was just a dream, just a dream. "The black fur on her back was a mess, tangled from all the tossing and turning she had done in her sleep. She had small bags under eyes. She gasped heavily. She looked out of the empty den, out into the empty land.
"I'm all alone." She closed her eyes, pained. "I always am." She stepped out of the den quickly, heading to the lake.
Her front paws entered the crystal clear water, gently washing the small scars left in them. The back paws followed. She smiled as the gooey mud swan between her toes, making her giggle.
She wadded farther into the lake, her smile growing bigger and bigger with each step. She looked up at the full moon, feeling as though it gave her the power to wait for the pack to fill with mothers, pups, warriors.

Futoji had been traveling along time. Two months at most. He whimpered to himself quietly. A stiff wind blew by and with it, the sceant of another wolf. He began a lope towards the sceant. He stopped at what seemed to be the pack borders. He knew exactly what to do. He lowered his head and eyes, tucked his tail between his legs and crouched down slightly. He showed all the signs of submission. Not wanting to mess this up. He gave out a short but loud howl. Calling for the wolf that he smelt on the wind.
He waited patenitly. The air was crisp and cool, but it felt good against his still thick coat that had yet to shed his winter cover. He sighed gently. Thinking about what he would say to the wolf. She would ask him questions about how he could help the pack and why she should accept him. He prepared himself, answering the questions in his head. He wondered if she would accept him the way he was. Oh well, he guessed he would find out.

Her eyes shot the howls source, suddenly sharp as a knife. A wave of athority passed quckly through her, but fled almost as soon as it had entered. She shiik her head, regaining her posture. Maybe she wasn't so alone.
She stepped out of the lake gingerly and gracefully. She shook the water off of her shining coat, stepping closer to the howl. She looked through the green leaves of the bushes at the handsome, your wolf. A paw slipped onto the fragile twigs, crushing them with no second thought.
"Hello, child. Se eyed him over, noticing his build would be perfect for any posistion requirng speed and agility. His tail was tucked between his legs. He wanted to join her. "Do you have any training?"
She shook the sickening thought of her mother away. Boy, did this one look like her. She could sennce something about him, though, a connection of some sort. He had been so close to the Alpha of his pack, too, she realised. Her eyes softened.
"Come, I fear it might rain." She turned toward the den, hoping he would follow. She had already made her decision.

He heard a twig snap but still did not look up. He could smell her better now, it was the same scent that he had smelled before. She seemed to study him for a moment, before asking if he had any training. He gave a small nod of his head, "Yes."
She told him to follow her and he looked up, Had he been accepted? Yes, she wanted him to follow of course he had. He came out of his submissive pose and sprung into a trot. He stayed behind her, looking out over the land that was now part of his home. He liked it, fortunatly.

"I am Statik. You are?" Her blue eyes flashed with hunger as an injured racoon trotted by. A pretty dumb move. Statik pounced on it quickly, before it could disapear back into the towering trees. She snapped its neck so the poor animal wouldn't have to suffer. Strange. Usually she missed her meals, due to her terrible hunting.
She looked up from the dead animal to the storm clouds, barely visible over the horizon. She grabbed the animal by the neck and continued toward the den. When she made her way inside, she threw it onto the small pile of animals, mostly rabbits and squirrels. She turned her head to the faint mud tracks she had made. She smiled.

Futoji followed quickly, "I am Futoji, Nice to meet you." He watched her pounce on the raccoon and didn't notice how hungry he was until he heard the snap of a prey's neck. He licked his lips but shook off the hunger. He followed her, scanning the area around him, ears flicking at every noise and eyes darting from place to place.
She had thrown the raccoon on the pile of more dead animals and his hunger grew. He ignored it however and followed her in. He took a seat and watched her. His eyes darting around the cave and finally setteling on Statik.

((I just had an idea. Could I add hawks onto the animals that reside here, and they could be their "allies," and help them hunt?))
She could tell he was hungry. This was the only thing she was good at; reading body language. Her smile grew, she realised she wasn't alone. "You can go ahead and eat, if you want." A laugh escaped. "Just save some for me."
A flash of lightning poured from the sky just outside the den, and Statik was knocked on her back. A horrific thunder erupted as Statik stood up again, leaning against the wall. It began to rain, barely drizzling at first but growing louder and harder. Statik breathed heavily, turning to face her new found friend. "Futoji, are you alright?"

(this is Futoji! and sure! thats a good idea.)
He smiled and ate some, being sure to leave quite a bit for her. He watched as the lightning flashed and he jumped. When she asked if he was okay he nodded, a bit scared, "Yes, I am fine. Are you okay." He went to her side, feeling the need to protect her. Even though he didn't know her, he felt like he should be doing it.
